Chief Storyteller--Tony Anderson
I was raised in a small town in Northern Missouri. This town was small enough to know almost everyone in the county. I was active in the church and other school activities. In church, I taught the boys of Royal Rangers. This is when I discovered my passion for teaching and the influence I had as an instructor.
I started serving our country in 2003 in the US Army as a food inspection specialist. My duty stations include Germany, Fort Benning, and Korea over 12 years. In 2008, I deployed to Iraq. In 2012, I supported Operation Tomadaci providing humanitarian aide to Japan after the earthquake and tsunami. While serving our country, I earned an associate degree in business administration with summa cum laude recognition.
As I started my transition from Active Duty service, I realized that I needed to fulfill my passions and provide something amazing for my family. I have always had a strong work ethic and enjoy thinking of creative solutions. I have always wanted to make a difference in people’s life. My family taught me to work hard, and the Army taught me to strategically think. I want my children to see me work hard and never give up. Work is not the world though. In my free time I enjoy scuba diving, cycling, and photography. I hope to one day share these hobbies with my children.
My goal for Story Grabbers is to provide a tool for reconnecting with our kids, building a creative voice for our younger generation, and ditching the devices (momentarily) that have taken over our lives.
Thank you for supporting our veteran created idea. You are appreciated and I look forward our continued relationship.
